Greetings from the South Pacific Ocean ,
Noon on the 2nd day brings us fair winds, lots of blue sunny sky, passing low cloud banks, deep blue ocean with white flecks, and a decent selection of birds - a white capped albatross ' little Al', Petrels - grey faced, giant, grey and cape. When the experts are on board it's an ocean life lesson as real as it gets.
Karen checked for Humpback whales using the hydrophones - maybe some dolphins but nary a whale singing this morning.
We are all getting used to life on an ocean wave and this downwind sailing is such a bonus for our sealegs.
The frozen evening meal is thawing - chorizo sausage and beans with green beans and mash potatoes, and your choice of red or white wines. - yum.
The daffodils are still brightening up the radar arch which is a little surprising because it was - shall we say - rough last night, but the stars were brilliant.
The SM is still waiting for the yoga instructor.
Cheers
