Fakaalofa Atu from Oma Tafua – Greetings from To Treasure Whales
The last day of the whale research turned out to be a no whales today jobby – we seek them here we seek them there, but no danged whales anywhere. But – but – we had our line out and a nice sized – say 6kg – yellow finned tuna sacrificed himself for Team Falcongt. Luckily on board we had Carlo from Tonga -a cook on the vaka – who displayed his fish dispatching talents with alacrity – what a nice guy – he had that fillets coming off like greased lightening, and then the old shasimi marinated in lemon juice, soya sauce and wasabi – that was a taste sensation and for lunch -guess what we had – tuna burgers – noice. The Sm can’t resist this fish stuff and fried up more before heading out for a farewell sausage sizzle, trivial pursuit quiz, and a disco at about one million decibels – let’s just say he did not partake of the ss, his team came third in the quiz and the disco was pure torture – serves him right – what was he thinking going to a bar at 9pm! This morning he was a sorry fellow. Too bad.
Mutolu Kia from will he ever learn Sm aboard FalconGt
